The Fujikyūkō train line has been upgraded and is now much faster. (The limited express takes approximately 40 minutes from Ōtsuki station to Kawaguchiko station)
* From JR (Japan Rail) Shinjyuku station, take the Chūō line until Ōtsuki station and transfer to the Fujikyūkō line until Kawaguchiko station.
