Laying at the base of the splendid Mt.Fuji, Fujikawaguchiko Town welcomes all visitors this coming season. Blessed with beautfiul scenery, fresh air and clear water, we welcome you to enjoy the coming seasons here. All tourist facilities and services are operational this season.

Place: JA(Japan Agriculture Co-op) Fuji Toyoshige Branch parking area.
[October 15 .16 ] Fujikawaguchiko "Momiji March" walking tour.
Place: Starting from Kawaguchiko Oike Park

[October 28 ~ 30] Mt.FUJI Kawaguchiko jazz Festival 2011
Place: Kawaguchiko Enkei Hall; Kawaguchiko Stella theater.

[October 29 ~ November 20] Fujikawaguchiko "Momiji Matsuri" Autumn Festival.
Place: North side of Lake Kawaguchiko at the "Momiji Corridor" near Kogetsu Onsen Hotel and Ichiku Kubota Kimono Museum.

[November 27] The 36th Kawaguchiko Sports Marathon
Place: Around Lake Kawaguchiko.

[All Year] Visit the Shrines of the Kawaguchiko Seven Deities of Good Luck.
Place: Kawaguchiko North side and Oike Park area.

Autumn Leaves Update (as of September 20th)

The leaves around Fujikawaguchiko have not yet started to turn color.
They are expected to turn from the middle to end of October.


Blackout and radiation information

Fujikawaguchiko Town currently is not effected by rolling blackouts or any radiation concerns caused by the March 11th disaster.
Operation and daily life is normal.
