1. Mt. Tenjo
〔Area：Kawcguchiko Area〕
Mt. Tenjo is an easily accessible sightseeing spot in the heart of the tourist / hotel area. It commands a stunning view of Mt.Fuji and its foothills.. On clear days, the distant Southern Alps are also visible. At the foot of the mountain is the national shrine of Sakuranamiki which is often visited in spring. And of course the famous blooming hydrangeas in July and August bring many locals, tourists and photographers alike. If one does not feel like taking the lesurely hike, the top is easily accessible by ropeway. Location: Asakawa, Funatsu, Fujikawaguchiko Town. Access: Take the Retro bus (Kawaguchiko line) from Kawaguchiko Station to the tour boat/ropeway entrance area by the lakeside. You can walk from the station in about 10 minutes.
2. Ubuyagasaki
〔Area：Kawcguchiko Area〕
Ubuyagasaki, on the north side of Kawaguchiko bridge, is famous in the spring for cherry trees.（usually around the middle of April）. It is almost famous for a few local legends like the god konohana-sakuya-hime. And there are some monuments dedicated to Matsuo Basho, photographer-Okada Koyo who took many photoes of Mt.Fuji and monument of Nakamura Seiko. Please visit Ubuyagasaki which is visited and loved by locals.

3. Lake Kawaguchiko North Shore Walking Trail
〔Area：Kawcguchiko Area〕
The walking trail exclusive to pedestrians around Lake Kawaguchiko now covers 80% of the lakeside! The view of Mt. Fuji from the walking trail of the north shore is magnificent (especially in spring when the trail is lined with cherry blossoms!). We recommend you have a bike or a stroll and enjoy the many shops, museums, restaurants and parks along the path.
4. The Maple Tree Walkway of Nashigawa
〔Area：Kawcguchiko Area〕
The maple trees along the Nashigawa river were planted by the locals over 80 years ago, and stretch over 2kms. The area is home to many local events, especially the Momiji Matsuri in Fall. Location: Lake Kawaguchiko north shore, Fujikawaguchiko Town. Access: Take the Retro Bus from Kawaguchiko Station (Kawaguchiko line) to the Icchiku Kubota Museum stop.
5. Nagasaki Park

Nagasaki Park has a greeat location - with a 270 degree view of Lake Kawaguchiko and a veiw of Mt. Fuji from foothill to peak. The location is also seaped in the history of the old feudal lords of the Shimazu clan. In spring the park is lined with cherry blossoms and in summer with various floral hues. Location: Oishii, Fujikawaguchiko Town. Access: Take the Retro Bus from Kawaguchiko Station (Kawaguchiko Line) to "sunnide resort" bus stop.
6. Ohishi Park
〔Area：Kawcguchiko Area〕
Oishi park is located on the north shore of Kawaguchiko.The park commands a stunning view of Mt.Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko. The park is next to the Ooishi Natural Living Center, where there are delicious foods, crafts, flower and vegetable gardens and a boardwalk along a marsh garden. We especially recommend you see the lavender beds from the middle of June to the middle of July.

7. Momiji Tunnel
〔Area：Kawcguchiko Area〕
Momiji(maple) Tunnel gets its name from the bright red color the surrounding maples turn in the fall season. With the beautiful Lake Kawaguchiko and the legendary Mt.Fuji, the scenery of here is outstanding, especially for a relaxing dcrive.. Location: Oishii, Fujikawaguchiko Town. Access: Take the Retro Bus from Kawaguchiko Station (Kawaguchiko line) to the Natural Living Center stop. From there 15 minutes on foot.
8. Rusugaiwa Hama
〔Area：Kawcguchiko Area〕
This small quiet stone beach on the lakeside is a famed place to view the mirror image of Mt.Fuji reflected on the lake. It also home to a legend of tragic love in the countryside.
9. Sozo-no Mori Forest
〔Area：Kawcguchiko Area〕
This is the home of the Fujizakura festival where, during golden week, the petite and rare Mt.Fuji cherry blossoms bloom.
10. Nenba-hama
〔Area：Saiko Area〕
Mt. Fuji from the view of Seiko, Nenba-hama has a wonderful view of Aokigahara-jyukai which formed eruption of Teikan(864 year).Before the erupting those which are one lake which is connected, the natural power which is divided into two lakes with violence of the lava are tremendous to the devotion lake, it is the view which is approached to heart.

11. Saiko Iyashino Sato Nemba
〔Area：Saiko Area〕
It opened in July 2006 "Saiko Iyashinosato Nenba"It is the facility which reproduces the houses'Kayabuki' of former times.The view of Mt. Fuji with the village of Kayabuki houses as to say the Japanese field scenery recalls longing and quiet impression.

12. Saiko Mori Wild Bird Park.
〔Area：Saiko Area〕
Saiko Mori Wild Bird Park is located at the edge of the Aokigahara sea of trees. It has a hall dedicated to the local geology and ecology of the Mt.Fuji area and lava rocks. Abundant wildlife life such as various birds and squirrels are visible from the park grounds. Its spacious lawn area and nearby hiking trails make it an ideal place for nature lovers. Location: Saiko, Fujikawaguchiko Town. Access: take the Retro Bus from Kawaguchiko Station (Aokigahara line) and get off at Mori Park.
13. Tatego-hama
〔Area：Shojiko Area〕
The view of Mt. Fuji from Tatego-hama, Shojiko is called 'Ko daki Fuji'. Becouse it looks like that Mt. Omuro overlaps with big Mt. Fuji. Whitose, an English man who constructed the first hotel here in Fujigoko area praised this place 'The oriental Switzerland'.Please enjoy the picturesque scenery.

14. The view of 1000-yen bill
〔Area：Motosuko Area〕
Motosuko which is praised the water of mysterious lapis lazuli color. You can desire the Mt. Fuji gallant figure which has become the design of thousand Yen bill from the north shore.

15. Fujigane Pasture
〔Area：Aokigahara-jyukai/ Fujigane Area〕
The Fujigane plateau is the largest dairy farming area in Yamanashi.You can see the grazing scenery of the cow which grazes the grass in the endless green ground with grand Mt. Fuji as the back.

[Access] Enter into Mt. Fuji direction from the boundary of Yamanasi prefecture and Shizuoka prefecture on Route139.
16. Mitsutoge
〔Area：Mountain Area〕
Mitsutoge looks like a
Three tops-Kaiun-zan, Kinashi-yama and Osutaka-yama get together and become like one mountain is
Mitsutoge. It is very famous as a wonderful view point of Mt. Fuji.There are many alpine plants and wild birds near the top. It is easy to take photoes in the early morning, if it designates the mountain hut as base.

17. Mt.Kurotake
〔Area：Mountain Area〕
The highest peak of Misaka-sankei where is located on the north side of Mt. Fuji is Mt. Kurotake (altitude 1,793m).The view cannot be done in the top of Mt. Kurotake, because it is enclosed by the forest. But there is view ground of the superb view from here to the south at about two minutes. It is the view point which watches Mt. Fuji and Kawaguchiko on south.

[Access] Hiking bus, Get off 'Tenka-chaya', Go to ridge for Mt. Misakasan, the Misaka pass, and it takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes.
18. Mt.Kenashi-yama
〔Area：Mountain Area〕
This is Mt.Kenashi-yama where you climb up to the straight north from the Bunkado tunnel which is between Kawaguchiko and Saiko.There is no tall trees in the top of a mountain as shown in the name, and the view is very wonderful. Because it was a thatch cutting place in local before. This is the view point that Mt. Fuji is the front, and Kawaguchiko in the left side and Saiko in the right side.

19. Mt.Ashiwada ( Gokodai )
〔Area：Mountain Area〕
South of Saiko, Mt. Ashiwada that lies from east to west is popular as the observatory in Mt.
Fuji. Other name is 'Gokodai', though it is said that all of Fuji Five Lakes were good at the view in old times, nowadays we can see just Kawaguchiko and Motosuko because the plants flourished.

[Access] Shuttle bus, Get off 'Oarashi iriguchi'It climbs from Oarashi district to the Tenjin shrine in the ridge, and it climbs the ridge information hiking route for about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
20. Koyodai
〔Area：Mountain Area〕
From the middle of October to the beginning of November, Koyodai has the best view of the myriad of autumnal leaves at the foot of Mt. Fuji.
21. Panorama-dai
〔Area：Mountain Area〕
Panorama-dai is famous as the view point of Shojiko, Aokigahara-jyukai, Mt.Omuro and Mt.fuji.
The scenery where Mt. Omuro overlaps with big Mt. Fuji is 'Ko daki Fuji'

[Access] Shuttle bus, Get off 'Panorama-dai shita', It climbs the climbing mountain road for about 40 minutes, and it walks to the
south on the ridge road for about 15 minutes.
22. Ryugatake
〔Area：Mountain Area〕
"Diamond Fuji" in which morning sun rises from Mt. Fuji top, and top of a mountain
shines like a diamond. Just a top of Ryugadake is the point to be able to appreciate diamond Fuji at the time on the sunrise of the New Year's Day. It is located on the south of Motosuko. And it is popular with a handy distance and the view.

[Access] Shuttle bus, Get off 'Motosu iriguchi',It walks to the climbing mountain road entrance in the Motosuko campground interior of the Motosuko side, and it climbs there for about 2 hours.
